New polling coming out on the 'trump or bust' vote
Pollsters are starting to pay attention to how much of the Republican base right now is Trump or nothing. If Trump isn't the nominee they just won't show up
David Paleologos
@davidpaleologos
Suffolk/USA TODAY network poll of OH voters:
Trump 44
Biden 38
West 2
Indy 9
Undecided 6
DeSantis 39
Biden 37
West 2
Indy 10
Undecided 10
92% of DeSantis voters would vote for Trump against Biden but 83% of Trump voters would vote DeSantis vs Biden. A slice says Trump or bust.
The George Bush republican party is dead. The conservative voter wants a return to limited government, anti war republicanism of before Dubya, Cheney and the Neocons.

“These primary results reflect what we’ve seen in national polls for months, that a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is the most likely scenario in 2024,” said Beacon spokesman Mark Cunningham. “It is interesting that Trump fares substantially better against Biden than Ron DeSantis does, and the change came almost exclusively from Republican voters who say they would vote for Trump as their nominee but would not vote at all if DeSantis were the nominee.”

No republican can win if these people stay home. It's just impossible. This is the reason fortification isn't an issue with Desantis, or anyone else. It's not needed when the Republican is going to get blown out by 10+ points because a huge portion of the republican base doesn't even show up.https://www.claiborneprogress.net/20...support-trump/

If Trump pulls off a win next year he has a complete mandate. No more pussyfooting around and blaming others.
Republicans are weak men who pretend to be strong
Democrats are strong men who pretend to be weak

I think trump could do a good job if he wants to and tries to. I will more than likely vote for him, considering the Dems don't seem to want to nominate someone fairly moderate. I hope whoever is in office does good things for the country. Doubt though
