Calling all videogamecels
Accidentally snapped my headset last night so I’m in the market for a new headset for my ps5. Preferably something I can listen to game volume and other people at the same time with good quality.
My friends have recommended a steel series 7, but they’re like £140, seems expensive for a fkn headset, I’ve looked at turtlebay recon 70 which are £30 in comparison, would any of you say there’s that much of a comparison in terms of sound quality for the price?

I still use the ear piece that came with my old ps4 that plugs into the controller lol. I used to have some Sony pro headset or whatever but it sounded worse than the ear piece did.

Definitely steelseries. Search steelseries competitive on Amazon, it's top tier quality under $100.

whats your budget?
from my personal experience you cant go wrong with turtle beach (ive had 3 pairs all around 80$) but my current one is microsoft Hyper X and they are good too. in fact better then my last pair which was turtle beach stealth 300 for the fact they arent so bassy.

Looked at a few models, I don’t really have a budget but I find it difficult to justify £300+ on headphones. I want something ideally with noise cancellation and good sound. I play my ps5 in my living room with onkyo 5.1 surround sound system and it sounds great, I want a set of headphones to feel equal or better than this in terms of sound quality.
I’m only looking for over ear headphones as the on or in ear hurt my ears after an hour, I typically play destiny online so when I play I’m usually raiding for prolonged periods of time.
Looked at a few models, I don’t really have a budget but I find it difficult to justify £300+ on headphones. I want something ideally with noise cancellation and good sound. ive tried many different headsets and the best was turtle beach stealth. they were wireless so i can take a piss while still being in party chat.

Pulse I forgot how much I paid for it brand new on anazon but for on ear they are awesome sets

Came in here to recommend Steel Series like your friends actually. Fantastic head sets
Get them from best buy and get the three year warrently. Then you can replace the headsets every 3 years like I do for like 20 dollars (even if there's nothing wrong with them). Pretty GOAT

Went for a steelseries p7+. Sound is good so far, would like a little more bass but nothing I’d complain about, the headphones are comfortable and the noise cancellation is great.
Haven’t had a chance to try it out while speaking to other fgts on the mic yet but I’m sure the quality will still be there
