Compounding inflation will halve your savings in 30 years.

If you calc Minimum 2% yearly inflation compounded over 30 years (99% chance it will be higher) Your savings will be worth 80% less in 30 years.

e.g if you plan to have 1m in 30 years for retirement it will realistically be the same as having 500k. And this is a best case scenario lol.

You kind of suck at math.

Assuming 3 percent inflation at 30 years. A future dollar will be worth 41% of a current.

If you have a good portfolio 11% geometric means are doable so roughly net 8% real return over time.
