Is deadlift the most useless exercise for hypertrophy?
Look at this little asian twink pulling 550 lbs and still looking like he's never touched weights before. Deadlift is 100% all leverage.

Dude looks like he lifts lol. And yes, deadlifts are pretty useless for hypertrophy. Good lift to learn when you start lifting but pointlessly fatiguing exercise unless you enjoy doing it.

I fukked my back up with DLs but always loved it.
Feels like you're lifting the whole fkkn world, it's addicting.

I prefer RDL's to conventional, I've never felt like I can snap my back up with RDL's vs conventional.

This is why I do DLs with the worst form possible and the most unfavorable leverage = max hypertrophy

Definitely great for getting stronger, but I never felt like it made me any bigger. The biggest difference I've noticed in terms of building out my back and improving the V-taper has been adding chest-supported T-bar rows.

Not sure what you mean.
If that dude naturally deadlifts 475 then works up to 550 over 3 months then of course he's not going to get much out of it.
However if you started at 225 and worked up to 550 then you gained size.
What you need to understand, is that whatever your naturally strongest at will require the most work to grow due to your body's leverages.
