Rejected from first ever “cold approach” outside supermarket

Thought I’d try “cold approach” cause if you read online people say this is the best way to meet a woman (or man if you’re a woman) because online dating sucks.

I haven’t been with anyone since my ex-girlfriend left me early this year.

Went to the supermarket to buy eggs and saw a nice looking blonde lady (probably mid 30s) in those black tights and a bright green top.

I didn’t approach her in the supermarket but saw her again outside on her phone so I thought why not.

I chatted to her for about a couple of minutes about the weather and plans for the day (yes I know boring) and then said I had to go and asked for her number. She said she was flattered but was too old for me and married said she was 46.

First time ever doing that and it is a warm morning so I was a bit sweaty when I went back to my car but it wasn’t like I got brutally rejected so maybe I’ll try again another time if I see someone I’m attracted to.

Get back in the ring and approach another. Chits a numbers game.
Drop the small talk with sloots 30+ and go direct AF. They know why you're approaching and you can save yourself a lot of time.

Yeah I guess it’s just a numbers game but it was 8:30am in the morning so I don’t think being straight forward and direct would’ve worked for me (not a “Chad”).

Pretty legit response.

Some people take rejection a little harder, understandably, but it is unnecessary suffering.

Doesn’t seem like you have that problem.

It would be okay if you did, but I am glad you don’t.

Cool man, as been stated, go try again. Experiment with different approaches and pay attention to subconscious body language.

Hers and yours.

GL.

Also, don’t worry about being a chad. The misc is retarded when it comes to women.

Good for you. More exposure just maked you better assuming you're not off-putting at baseline.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

It happens to everyone. If they say it hasn't they are either lying or never had the guts to even approach and say hello to a hot chic.

If you get shot down shrug it off and try again. Even the hottest chips get shot down at some time or another.

Keep trying. Trying is the fun part of it anyways

Nice job man. Keep it up so you can get the skills up. I'd have probably been too nervous to do it in that situation (supermarket lot)
