Tony Hawk interviews Lil Wayne.

I listened to this today... 9/10 interview.

Lil Wayne actually enjoys skating down to his heart. Tony Hawk is probably the GOAT sportsman & human of a generation.

Based. I grew up hating on Lil Wayne because I was trying to be a purist. Hated his rapping. Hated his style. Hates his skating. Hated him pretending to play guitar lmao.

But the older I get and the more I watch/listen to the man, the more I appreciate him. He’s incredibly talented as an emcee, his punchlines and wordplay are top tier, and he says some real chit in interviews.

Even skateboarding has deteriorated in today's times. Back in the day. Punk music was skating go to .not saying. No one listened to anything else cause individual taste are different but back in the day all the skate videos and and shows were all punk rock themed. Now it's hip hop.

Yeah thats a well known story that Wayne has told many times and it shows you the type of person Wayne is, I wish more people had his mindset of gratefulness, and the crazy thing is I think that old white cop killed himself like two years ago? sad stuff. Wayne would speak to him from time to time and even tried to buy him a house and help him with money but he was too proud and would refuse.

Yeah I rode flatland BMX in highschool, and the children (14 and under) in Japan MOG anything i was doing when i was 17.
