How many years before they recall Ozempic?

Would rather jump on gear

Also, I may get **** for this, but I mock anyone who needs a drug to lose weight more than I mock anyone on PEDs. I lost 100lbs natty in my early 20’s.

Just LOL at needing a drug to lose weight when you’re obese. Try losing 5/10lbs when you are a low bf. That’s a million times harder. I have zero respect for ozempic users.

I'm not. I just corrected him. He said it was a pill.

If anything, my correction should be seen as a deterrent since more people are afraid of injections than popping a pill.

There are however cases where the risks of taking ozempic is warranted. Its certainly not for the 20-something college student that wants to lose 20 lbs to go to Cancun for spring break. It should mainly be for the 50+ year old morbidly obese that cannot get up to move much due to existing injuries.

I don't think it will, well maybe Wagovy because its specifically dosed for weight loss, but Semaglutide itself won't be going anywhere.

I was on Wegovy for awhile since I have a legit diagnosed eating disorder. It worked but the nausea got to be too much so I quit taking it.

IDK, but it's odd how much this [phen fen] sounds like that.
A similar drug, aminorex, had caused severe lung damage and "provided reason to worry that similar drugs ... could increase the risk of a rare but often fatal lung disease, pulmonary hypertension."

In 1994, Wyeth official Fred Wilson expressed concerns about fenfluramine's labeling containing only four cases of pulmonary hypertension when a total of 41 had been observed, but no action was taken until 1996.

In 1995, Wyeth introduced dexfenfluramine (the dextro isomer, marketed as Redux), which it hoped would cause fewer adverse effects. However, the medical officer of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Leo Lutwak, insisted upon a black box warning of pulmonary hypertension risks.

After Lutwak refused to approve the drug, the FDA management had James Milton Bilstad, FDA Senior Drug Evaluator, sign it and approved the drug with no black box warning for marketing in 1996.

In 1996, a 30-year-old woman developed heart problems after a month of using fenfluramine/phentermine; when she died in February 1997.
fenfluramine = semaglutide

redux = wegovy

This too:
The term fen-phen was defined/termed/labeled in 1994 when Pietr Hitzig and Richard B. Rothman reported that this combination could presumptively remit alcohol and ******* craving. The authors suggested that other combined dopamine and serotonin agonists or precursors might share this therapeutic potential.
I'm not rooting against it. No reason to.

I do wonder if it may also be fiddling around with some of the same chemicals in the body which may lead to real problems for some users.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenflu...2414%20billion.

People really do have a need to lose excess fat and most seem unable to get it done so there is a lot of incentive to keep it on the market. Maybe a few cases of paralyzed stomachs, poor vision, and saggy faces won't be enough to scare people off.

Didn't read but Semaglutide is the active drug in Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus all made by Novo Nordisk. Literally the same thing just different doses and Rylbelsus is a pill ->https://www.drugs.com/semaglutide.html

Semaglutide is a Glucagon-like peptide-1 [GLP-1] agonists, a class of medications created in 2005 to treat type 2 diabetes

It honestly has been kind of frustrating seeing some former fat people I've known IRL getting thin via shortcut medical means that are designed to circumvent truly healthly lifestyle changes. Meanwhile, I think of the countless hours I've put into decades of exercising, making a point of not eating like a total slob, etc. to stay fit. Then these clowns go get their stomachs stapled or start popping big pharma pills, and bam, they go from 150+ pounds overweight to thin within half a year's time. It's like they're being reward for being lazy sacks with no fortitude to make actual positive lifestyle changes for themselves.

Except the weight comes back if they stop, and a third of the weight loss is from muscle.

Wouldn't you want your obese sack of **** brother to live longer, and have a lower risk of popping his clogs suddenly?

Sure it'd be great if every obese person could lose weight without medical help, but that isn't the real world.

Yeah, that doesn't bother me. If it works, great.

And there are tools that do help some people lose significant amounts of excess weight. Keeping it off is trickier.

I forgot, your ass was actually promoting this ****...... **** the numerous side effects coming to light? Isn't that right, you worthless Korean migrant. It's all about popping a pill, or getting a shot with people like you.....

A third of the weight that is lost is muscle, and what happens when they stop the injections, the weight comes back, but not the muscle.

Probably never seeing as its an injection.

The whole purpose if this stuff is to get people used to injecting what they are told to inject.

They dont give a **** about the side effects or any of that stuff.

Its the compliance they want.

You didn't answer the question. Wouldn't you want your obese sack of **** brother to have a lower risk of suddenly popping his clogs?

I'm assuming by this point, he isn't going to lose the weight purely of his own accord - so if he decided to get on Ozempic, you're telling me you'd try and stop him?

Yeah, I would try and stop him. He can start walking and probably lose like 30lbs in a month from doing something as simple as that.

Why is your solution to everything either a jab or a pill, or wearing a mask?

But he hasn't and isn't going to, or he'd have done it already. Some people are just like that, this is the real world not an idealised version of humans. So you'd rather your brother pop his clogs and go to an early grave, instead of getting help and improving his health. Not surprising of course.

If we can get a large percentage of the very obese population to lose a ton of weight, cut their risk of heart disease and stroke by a lot, and increase their life expectancy - in turn saving healthcare systems a colossal amount of money overall - that is a no brainer.

So the real question is why wouldn't any healthcare professional promote this for certain patients? The 40 something meter maid loser knows better?

Why would we have someone take something where a third of the weight loss is muscle? Why would we have someone take something that they would need to take it for life? Why would we have someone take something that leads to a loss of bone density? Why take something where the long term side effects are unknown?

You truly are worthless you know that?
