People that looked more mature in HS tend to age faster?

For some reason I've seemed to notice a trend that people who looked older in middle/high school seemed to have continued aging faster into adulthood. Including getting that older "fat person"/worked hard/underpaid look where a 35 yr old could now pass for age 46 or something. Of course, back in school everyone wanted to look as mature as possible.

People that looked young for their age in school and could pass for someone 2 or 3 grades lower seem to have aged more slowly into their adult appearances...perhaps now passing for someone 5 or more years younger than their actual age.

This means you could have two people age 35 -- one can pass for 30 and the other can pass for 45.

best of both worlds right here. I had to shave in middle school and looked older in highschool but these days everyone thinks im like 10 years younger than my real age. Sometimes even 15 years younger.

Late bloomer checking in and I still look the same as I looked when I was 20 (I am 27).

Answering your question, thats kinda obvious isn't it OP? If you look "mature" in HS it means you got older faster than the others, which leads to a high possibility of STILL looking older when you are older.
