I just told my Aunt and Uncle to fuk off and go to hell

I'm so tired of them demanding that I send them photocopies of my parents' stuff every week! I spend hours going to Fedex Kinkos for them.

My Mom would NEVER allow my aunt to get involved in her financial affairs, but once my Mom had a heart attack and stroke my Aunt went in for the kill and took over. My Mom became incapacitated.

They also convinced my Dad, who is over 80 an losing his cognitive abilities, to be trustees of his trust where my Mom had appointed me! I made a thread about that in July as I sent them nasty texts about that, too.

I feel so sick and can't stop crying.

My Mom and my Aunt were my rocks and now they're gone. I'm left with my Aunt and Uncle who I think want my Dad's money and control.

I feel like I have no family left except for my daughter, and it's a crappy feeling. My Aunt was the nicest, most amazing person in the world.

My other aunt and uncle refused to give my aunt a memorial service so fuk it, I'm going to organize it as my Aunt's friends were upset that they refused to have one. At least I have friends....

Ok so who is POA over your Mom and Dad? Are they their own POA?

If you suspect financial elder abuse or theft or anything illegal/inappropriate is taking place, you should hire a lawyer. Not much else to say.

My Mom has no POA. We tried to get it so I was on their bank account but the bank refused it unless I had her POA, and then a notary refused to get her to sign because she was not of sound mind. So now I spend 5 hours every Sunday having my Dad sign checks and I pay his bills.

I know, aging sucks. My aunt fell and was without food and water for 3 days this time last year when I was out of town and neighbors were supposed to be watching her. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy and now she's gone.

No they don’t. I’ve shielded that stuff from friends and family. I’ve never lost my temper with my friends.

I have only lost my temper with them twice because they demand me to spend hours at my Dad’s house every week. Then taking over my Dad’s trust also did it.

I can manage my Dad’s finances just fine. He lives on a fixed income so there isn’t much to worry about.

I don’t know. I’ve never done anything bad to the people ITT but they hate on me. I’m a very nice person and I don’t have problems on other forums.
