Nick Chubb injury (graphic)

Holy fukkkkkk. Can anyone explain what he probably injured/broke/tore?

Prayers to him, but I’d be surprised if he plays again after that.

crazy his career might be over. That has to be at least a 2 year healing process. I thought cut block tackles were suppose to be illegal. very dirty tackle

It's not dirty at all and low tackles are not illegal. Players dive after legs all the time. Chubb is a RB that is very hard to take down so smaller players like DBs are taught from the age of 5 to dive at legs to make the tackle. It wasn't intentional either... game moves so fast and these players are so athletic you have to make split second decisions.

Unfortunate but that is just the brutal nature of the sport.

Looks like his left leg OP

In all seriousness most likely fully ruptured his ACL, MCL and PCL. Possibly ruptured one of the distal hamstring tendons, torn meniscus and potential tibial Plateau fracture to top it off. He could return to play in 12-15 months.

worst one I've seen since Marcus Lattimore's injury where he tore everything in his knee and his leg was flopping around. Dude legit could have died on the field if he would have torn an artery and lucky he didn't.

ACL, PCL, MCL tears, meniscal tears.

Possible nerve damage.

Hopefully no vascular damage.

Yes. Injuries of this nature can result in limb amputation due to the severing of major blood vessels requiring tourniquet.
