sell something youre actually interested in/good at so you sound legitimate and actually have less possibility of burnout.

If I had to go into sales I'd probably do something as far as reselling. Maybe solar sales since I like the technology.

You really don't. You can learn as you go, but it wouldn't hurt to get your foot in the door. Networking into the job would be an alternative.

Depends on the equipment and the account you get as well. If you're selling 100k equipment, all depends on the commission and whether you are the one that gets to sell those price points. Most people wouldn't give up those jobs. Generally they're for the good looking women with little to no knowledge.
