I don't think you're a loser if you live with parents. If you make mediocre money just chip in some rent, create a budget like an adult, and buy your own stuff. It's better than renting an affordable apartment at some crackhead motel if you are being financially responsible. It's more acceptable if you're a hopeless incel or don't want to bother with dating. Moving out because society tells you to is for the wrong reason.

I moved out right after high school. I have always either lived alone or with a bf/husband. Never had random roommates and never want to. Couldn't vote as there's no option for living with bf.

I agree. The younger generations are F'd. A 1 bedroom apartment in any decent area around here is like $1700 or more. No young 20 year old can afford that on their own. A lot of older adults can't afford that on their own.

Lived with family till about 18. Lived with random roommates for college till 23. Lived alone / with ex-gf since then. Currently alone, current GF comes over on weekends usually.
