Help me understand chinese roommate

Guy makes rice and leaves a bunch of it out overnight smelling up the place.

Then he also has a bunch of uncovered food in the fridge. He's a nice guy but help me understand the logic here. Pretty sure left-out rice get's fcked by Bacillus.

Dude is just kind of unsanitary. Typical chinese kid, glasses, nerdy, weird.

Mommied too much when he's young, only forced to be a little study machine and nothing else. The only thing he knows in life is to study, listen to every word mommy says, and how to play piano/violin.

Just talk to him and say it directly in the nicest way you can. Just say its unhygienic and not on.

Don't know, but I had a fillipino one who would do similar chit too. Like cook chicken in a pan and then just leave it sitting out.

I mentioned it to him and he just said something about "the fat will keep it from going bad" or whatever. Okay.jpeg.

So he cooks and let it out in the open overnight? or just let it out in order to cool down?
You live with roomates, they're always going to do some stuff that will boggle your mind.

Had a roomate that would finish the toilet paper roll and then throw it inside the toilet bowl, he said the water would make the roll softer over time and it would flush easily.
Mofo didn't understand he could just toss it in the trash bin.

It's always out boyo. I think he just makes a bunch of rice and throws the rest or something idk. Seen him get some protein shakes too, I think he's been mirin lately

Kind of just want to tell him his food is stinking up the joint but whatever, maybe I'll tell him to put it in the fridge if it starts smelling a lot

Different worlds man. Saran wrap and tupperware aren't as big here in China. Remember, the economy here was wrecked for a long time. As for leaving rice out... many will leave rice in the rice cooker and make fried rice with it the next day. Just have a normal conversation with him about what is acceptable and appropriate.

Idk what queue for a bus is but I've noticed all the Chinese people (especially ladies) all fckn rush into a bus before people have a chance to get off and then they occupy a lot of room with their baggage and then take forever to sit down so when I find a seat I have to work to maintain balance.

Shts fckn annoying. Sometimes I'll just "accidentally" bump into an old lady because she's taking her sweet time to sit down and I'm not trying to fall over due to a bus driver gassing it

LMAO, have you lived there? Overpopulation has very little to do with how older Chinese people act. Older Chinese just don't GAF but then again a large part is also that self awareness and awareness of others isn't a social concept over there. Unless you actually bump into them or they bump into you they would act like you didn't even exist there and would go about accordingly as if they were the only person there. Call it self-centered, selfish, or what will you but that's just how it is. And just like their driving, with everyone else acting the same way, it actually works.
