I can somewhat maintain my lower body strength even if I take a few weeks off from lifting as long as I make sure I eat enough and my protein intakes are decent. But I notice my bench and shoulder press numbers drop quite significantly if I take even a little bit of time off from lifting. Anyone else notice the same phenomenon?

Most miscers don’t even lift anymore brah so they can’t relate to what you’re saying.
I actually have the opposite problem, if I take a few weeks off the gym my lifts usually feel easier. I find my normal routine could probably use more rest days.
