Is anyone else amazed at how so many restaurants are able to survive?

I've always wondered how food establishments are so incredibly common and numerous. Seems like there's a restaurant/eating joint of some sort for every 200 - 300 or so people you see out there, especially if you count all fast food and gas station hot food type stops.

I really don't understand how these places all manage to stay in business, many for years on end. Are there a lot of people who eat out like 6+ times a week, or what? Because I don't get how so many places get that kind of traffic otherwise.

I've been in the food industry a long time.

You are a fool if you think economies work the way they teach you.

Remember when O'bummer said we are moving away from a industry based economy to a service based economy.

A lot of resturants are just owned by the top 1% and they just use it as a way to pump money and jobs into the system to maintain it....its not about making money , it doesn't matter how much it loses they have so much money and it can get written off as taxes and what not loop holes along with Grant money for development.

its all a big fukon scam to keep you occupied and stupid.
