Tried watching the new The Flash movie recently. The action in the movie was alright, but I lost track of everything that was going on within half an hour or so into the it.

Another one recently was that Spiderman: No Way Out movie, or whatever. Just terrible, and impossible to care about anything that's going on during the last hour of it.

Haven't watched the new flash yet but want to for Micheal Keaton's batman.

As an avid comic book reader and former collector I love such movies

What was hard to follow about Spiderman?

Villains from different universes show up

Holland is like, "I can change them!"

Fights happen and villains get changed.

Now Holland is lonely incel.

Better off watching the CW show.

DC Movies in general aren’t terrible, but with so many recasts, and no real world building they just pick random things that marvel has been setting up for years or over a decade, and throw it at their plots.

Like the whole multiverse thing took marvel 12 years or so to get up and running. Same characters, and any “new” ones were very smartly wedged in and given more and more fleshing out.

New flash just lazily tosses the multiverse in there, gets Michael Keaton to show up for nostalgia, and expects people to be okay with it.

Same thing happened with the Justice League movie. Rushed ass premise that took Marvel years to build, and then Superman quits, and they introduce Black Adam and release him too. It’s a joke how bad DC “sets up” their movies.

Shazam, and Blue Beetle were better than any of their recent AAA movies. The Batman with twilight bro was good, but isn’t part of their universe right now. Joker was good too, but again it doesn’t tie into their lazy ass universe.

Spidey and Bruce Wayne have always held a place for me.

Both lost loved ones Felt a sense of responsibility. Tried to do right .

Same with magneto losing his mother

All three are sad souls who strive to make things better.

Any time they start doing stupid chit like multiverses or parallel universes it ruins any future plots.

Gives them free reign to kill off any character and bring them back whenever they want. Iron man didn't really die in end game, we went to the multiverse and saved him 1 second before he died. No weight to any storyline. Every character death is pointless and weightless.

I think Spiderman was tough for me to follow because it was so incredibly boring. It's like 2.5 hours long and I was checked out by the 45 minute mark and went into running out the clock mode.

I watched this a couple weeks ago....

Can't say that the plot was hard to follow, didn't have any issues with that. What I did have issue with was their terribly forced humor, overdone CGI, and poorly fleshed out backstory.

Really wanted to like it but just couldn't. The throwbacks were cool though.

Flash was mostly corny, and Ezra Miller is annoying.

The Zod stuff, Nicholas Cage, and some of the fights were cool though.
