Who else here lifts but doesn’t care about sports?
Lol I started lifting in 2007 lol I’ve never cared about sports even when I played as a kid/teen
My brother lifted for football and claims that he wouldn’t lift if he didn’t play

I like going to the gym and bike riding. but can't be bothered to give a **** about Sports. I use too be a huge MMA/Boxing fan, like i still tune in to watch but i'm not as excited as i use to be.. but **** like Football, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball; get ****ed... Out of those 4 the only one i can watch is soccer and only when Colombia is playing and that national team at that. I don't watch Colombian Soccer.

What are we talking about?
Like watching sports? I like ncaa college chit. You can’t go anywhere at psu because it’s a big ten school w out ncaa everything on tv.
Brb walk into a common area, ncaa on tv
Brb walk into a dining hall, ncaa on tv
Brb walk into a dorm living room, ncaa on tv
And going to the games is sick
I also like hockey
If we’re actually talking about playing sports? I used to play soccer until I was 13 quit because my dad was the coach and yelled all the time
Then I played football for like 1/2 of a school year and then quit
By like 17 all I cared about was lifting

I never cared about following sports, but am always down to do sporty activities IRL. Ran track and cross country in HS.
I only like the social aspect of the Superbowl, and I like the Olympics because I can cheer for America vs the world.

I dont care much for sports because they insist in being political.
if i watch anything its sumo wrestling. srs Its all men, they would never consider having women do it. They have strict traditions they follow and its a pure meritocracy.
if you win, you get advanced, if you dont, you drop down, just that simple. So you have to be the man in order to keep your position.
You cant compare that to any other sport where you will always see great players making less or in the minors or whatever because of any number of factors. That or half ass guys making bank because they had a good agent.
I still lift because i need to get strong as I get older.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
