Is there anyway to recover files from a usb flash drive?

I goofed and hooked up a flash drive to my xbox so I can watch some videos on my tv. A little thing popped up and said it needed to reformat for xbox or some chit and I said okay. Now whenever i plug the drive back into my PC there is no files.

Yeah you just have to run a scan like that tool above. From what I understand it the files can usually be recovered even if formatted many times. That's why Hillary Clinton had to destroy her devices with hammers.

If you're desperate enough try to send it to a pro to do this. I was able to get my mom's last photos after my stupid aunt formatted the SD card by asking a forensics guy in IT to help me out.
