Two teenagers, ages 15 and 17, were found lifeless with ballistic impacts on their bodies early this Wednesday morning, in the middle of a public thoroughfare in Santiago Centro , Metropolitan Region. The discovery happened on Tocornal street , the place where Carabineros personnel arrived. Captain Claudio Herrera, patrol officer of the Santiago Central Prefecture, confirmed that the deceased are two minors and that they have not yet been identified. Meanwhile, Carabineros Major Marcos Bahamondes pointed out in Chilevisión how the events occurred. According to what he recounted, a man in a vehicle arrived at a building , who when he was about to enter suffered a door slam. At that moment, a car with four occupants would have blocked his way from behind and three criminals got out to threaten him, carrying long weapons. The victim of the gate apparently defended himself and fired, taking the lives of two of the criminals. These are two subjects aged 16 and 17 , from the commune of Ñuñoa and who had a history. On the other hand, the other individuals who were inside the vehicle fled.
