GA and NZ will be either the new Virginia or new North Carolina. Virginia used to be a hardcore red state; now it's blue. NC used to be a hardcore red state as well but now it's a swing state.
Texas will go blue by 2032.

GA has 2 Dem senators, and they voted Biden in 2020. So they're on the way
Texas is still more than 2 years away. Trump's 2020 performance was specific to him, not generic (R). It's still a R+7-8% state

George isn’t turning blue- it’s slowly going the same way Florida did.
Georgia has just recently “crested” a small blue surge that wouldn’t have happened if Trump didn’t self implode in 2020.
Georgia was fairly red on this last election - and would’ve easily won the Senate if it had a decent candidate.
Georgia will be deeper red each year staring in 2024, and pure deep red by 2026- especially as the coastal plains starts filling up red like Florida.
The Myrtle Beach South Carolina to Jacksonville Florida line is - as well as the coastal plains and some lake properties will pretty much reflect what we’ve seen in Florida the last 10 years- not quite as extreme
Rural Georgia is just going to become less rural because of Atlanta white flight.
There will be a deep red ring of an Atlanta “super perimeter” on the outside about 30 miles farther from the center of Atlanta than it was from the center 10 years ago. Inside perimeter will get darker blue
State Stays red at least 10 years
Walker is an anomaly because he's a horrible candidate. But the fact that his loss wasn’t as near as big as it should have been also partially proves it.
The state wide dominant margin of victory for the GOP and every other state wide election this election, except Walker reflects that.
The GOP absolutely dominated every other state wide election.
And the GOP margin of victory has increased each election since 2018.

Walker was a fluke because he’s a horrid candidate - 2020 was Trumps mess up.
Gop dominated this state
As far as "why do we have 2 blue senators?" And "why did Dems when the last 3 senate races?"
1. Georgia did crest close enough that we didn't have room for nonsense and errors.
Also
The 2 in 2020 would have won in the 2021 runoff if people weren’t literally touring our state telling people not to vote- and trashing our system.
Plus Kelly L was unlikable, but still would have won.
Purdue even had the most votes on November election - the runoff screwed it
Walker is a fluke bad candidate - it's that simple
Case in point-
The gop had more votes than the Dems even in the 2020 senate election
In the November 3rd special election 2 gop members ran
Kelly and Collins had 312k more votes than Warnock and Jackson

And in the November 3rd regular Purdue has 88k more votes

Both went to run-off that had about 5 weeks of strait don’t bother voting because it’s a scam message to the gop base from Trump - and Even flat don’t vote and protest vote from lawyers.
The GOP was even dominant in 2020 stare wide races- increased from 2018 dominance those two senators winning the runoff in 2021 was a fluke just like Walker was a fluke
The GOP has been dominant in every state wide race since 2018 execmpt the flukes- and our progressively increasing gop each election cycle leaves us more room for error in 2024.
And yes, we changed voting laws since 2020.

Also, state wide elections dont mean much to those who dont live in GA. Electing 2 leftist senators does.
PS, TX will be blue very soon.
From 2010-2020 TX added 4 million to their population...under 200K were white(only group that votes (R)
Whites who die are not being replaced electorally and the only reason TX is currently red is because whites are way over represented in the electorate, which is obviously waning.

I don't know what to believe. I was reading this morning an article saying that Senator Ted Cruz of Texas is concerned about his home state becoming Democrat run in the future.
On the other hand i read articles like this ~
People of color trending Republican
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/o...ing-republican
Are non-white voters really moving away from the Democratic Party? To partisan Democrats confronting this question on Twitter (sorry, X), it seems preposterous that the party of Donald Trump, whom they routinely call a racist, could be gaining support from blacks, Hispanics, and Asians.
But the evidence for eroding non-white support for Democrats is strong. The New York Times’s analyst Nate Cohn, who back in June 2016 was the first to identify Donald Trump’s appeal to previously Democratic-voting white non-college graduates, noted earlier this month that Joe Biden was carrying just 53% of non-whites in 2022-23 New York Times/Siena College polls — far under the 70%-plus he was winning among these voters in November 2020.
BIDEN ACKNOWLEDGES GAS PRICES PUTTING 'STRAIN ON FAMILY BUDGETS'
The drop is pronounced among both blacks and Hispanics, men and women, college graduates and non-college graduates. It’s concentrated among non-whites under age 45, suggesting a long-range problem for Democrats. That’s in line with the thesis of Republican consultant Patrick Ruffini in his forthcoming book Party of the People, which depicts an emerging “multiracial populist” Republican Party.
To the many liberals shrieking that such a trend is impossible, Cohn responded by pointing out that Biden is polling below other Democrats, and below his own 2020 numbers, at this point in the electoral cycle.
Evidently, as the Washington Post’s libertarian-leaning columnist Megan McArdle writes, “many folks just can’t emotionally grab the possibility of a Democratic party that isn’t mostly a coalition of working class/organized labor/nonwhite voters, with affluent liberals a small, if influential sideshow.” Similarly, my Washington Examiner colleague Timothy Carney describes the resistance of “economic liberals” to recognize corporate executives’ self-acknowledged trend toward Democrats.
The picture of rich businessmen on one side of the partisan divide and blistered-handed working men on the other may be familiar to writers born in the 1970s, like McArdle and Carney, and it certainly was to one growing up, as I did, in Big Three- and UAW-dominated Michigan in the 1950s. It warms many a liberal heart to see oneself as the unselfish backer of the toiling masses.....
