What matters is feeling satisfied and happy.

Many tools to achieve that, excess wealth is a cheat code for it. Being high on life, avoiding envy and comparison, focusing on interpersonal relationships, all can lead to achieving it too.

Honestly, if you have enough to put a roof over your head, take care of yiur family, buy the needed nesscaties.

If you can save some for a couple fun items at times

Then no it's not bad

But if you dwell on cheap selfish wants but not needs then you will be miserable
