the no fap thing is really just for guys who have low test, the whole thing is complete bull sh*t, but placebo effect goes a long way I guess. If you do no fap / retention for extended periods of time, good luck on your prostate health goals.

I think one of the biggest myths about men is that we’re naturally horn dogs and think about sex constantly, and that’s just how we are. I think it is actually in large part a result of our culture, and is not actually the natural state of men.

The problem is it’s a question we’ll never really be able to answer definitively because it’s impossible to parse out culture from human nature.

Anyway, I mention this because I think what no-porn is really about is reducing the influence of our hyper sexualised culture, and that in turn will lead to reduction in masturbation.

I agree with the above. I have found in an all male environment with no technology the drive goes to almost nothing. Same when you are preoccupied with a big project.
