Bavarian Catholic here. The Vatican is too far gone I think to run anything. The best idea from a long time ago that Zionists crushed was that Palestine be a nation for Palestinians and Jerusalem be an international city run by a trust of Orthodox Christians (Eastern and Oriental) with a Catholic interest section attached, Sunni Muslims with a Shia interest section, and a jewish section with some Orthodox denominations. That is the best idea but these days it is no longer acceptable with the Jewish section because they are all zionists with the exception of some very brave truly religious orthodox groups. In theory that would have been great post WW2 but zionists would never let it happen.
