I have a really good friendgroup and solid individual friends outside of that friend group, but the thing is that all those have friendships have to do with a shared activity that we're all passionate about, mainly skateboarding with my friend group, and mountaineering with my individual friends outside that main group. We do care about the personal lives of each other to a great extent but what brings us together first and foremost are those sports. But I hear and talk to so many people who either have no friends or no serious passions or hobbies and they a few friends but what do they even do when they hangout, just gossip?? Drink?? Like what's the point of even meeting then, to just waste time when you can read a book or workout or some other self improvement?

Friends get boring when you hit your 30's.

A lot of my friends are in the finance and real estate sectors so often when we get together it’s networking, referrals and troubleshooting

Also drinking, dinners, working on project cars etc
