I hate when fat people are in front of me at the bakery

Just tryna pay for my tuna and sweetcorn baguette and some fat biatch whose left leg could solve world hunger is ordering 6 sausage rolls and 3 pizza slices is wasting my precious lunch hour.

I am SEETHING. That’s an extra 4 minutes I could have spent miscing

It's the worst. On my bday we went to a bakery for a chocolate croissant. There were about a handful in the case. There were two fat women in front of us. The whole time I'm thinking they're going to take all the choc ones and they did. I was not happy.

How common is obesity in the UK? It's pretty rare here. For the american peeps here, it must be commonplace. The obesity in that country is staggering. Here, seeing an actual morbidly obese person is so rare it's like seeing a monster (srs). It's actually shocking.

In my own personal travels, you know who's also obese? Australians. They're also entitled, obnoxious, and arrogant like american tourists.

Seems like that lady you speak of should lay off the plum pudding and crumpets.

We aren’t as bad as American, but we are far worse than the 10 or so other European countries I have visited

Yeah, that's what I heard. I haven't personally been to the UK but I've heard the people there can be pretty obese as well. Obviously, not on the same level as americans, which has reached preposterous epidemic proportions, but pretty chunky regardless. The classic UK diet doesn't seem too healthy overall. Pretty nutritionally empty.

What are some generally healthy (nutritionally dense) classic UK meals?

That's my approach all the time but especially when I cut. I'll make more 'classic' dishes like tacos, burgers, pizzas, etc, but with a nutrient-dense spin. Sure, you sacrifice some flavor when you're abiding by a no oil, no butter, no sugar ethos, but it's also rewarding to create a nice meal that you know is packed with nutrition and not empty.

I made a British themed Christmas dinner last year. My in laws are really British and Irish so they were pretty impressed. Was a lot of fun.

Yeah I knew as soon as we walked in and saw them that I wasn't going to get my croissant, but I held out hope they'd at least leave one. They basically bought out the whole case of stuff.
