I will bet anything that all he is doing is installing Kodi on it.

It is very easy and no longer requires you to jailbreak it. Also though - I find Kodi runs like garbage on the stick - you are better off upgrading to the Amazon cube

you dont need to "jailbreak" a fire stick. just sideload the apk via adb or a browser running on it.

i pay $9/month for iptv and it sucksz. 10k channels of buffer bufffer buffer

cant imagine how bad some unlimited free service is.

It's easy, I did it years back for my kids and those things worked forever w/o needing any updates. Hell, they may still be working, idk, I haven't asked them in forever. Just find a good tutorial and follow the steps.

Kodi is still running fine - I pay I think $20/6mo of Real Debrid though to ensure better streaming

well thats partly why I want to see if its worth bothering to do it. Our cells, internet and tv are all in one bundle so we're not paying anything crazy and I get my 4k channels

My bro in law brags he has free tv but everytime he tries to impress me with it it's shi.t quality or the stream cuts out lol

Those sites for kodi, stream sites and all that in general, they come and go. If you pay someone to setup your stick it will eventually not work, you dont know when, could be 3 years, could be 6 months, whenever the sites that are setup on it go down. But if you learn how to do it yourself then you will know how to update/fix it and add newer sites as they come along

Yea for the most part they're all free but sometimes the movieapps , livetv apps don't even load and then you have to wait weeks or months before its fixed . I just do it to install an adfree YT app and few movie apps, works well for the most part.

1. "Jailbreak Firestick 4k Max (previous version) for like $25 on sale

2. Add TiviMate (buy premium version for $30 for life for 5 devices) this is software to have your IPTV service look like cable tv as far as UI

3. Find a solid paid IPTV provider (the free will suck) they should be less than $20 a month

4. Have access to pretty much every channel and event around the world.

Look on troypoint on how to do all of the above minus finding an IPTV provider. That you will need to get in some groups on discord.
What are you on about mate?

Yeah, most IPTV will be about 30-90 seconds delayed so if you are live sports betting or are that is a huge deal for you then don't bother.

pretty much this. It isn't exactly jail breaking. Its installing trash apps that run horrible. You can legit use the browser and watch any movie you want for free.

Kodi has really gotten better over the years. Kodi + FEN + Real Debrid is solid for movies/tv shows but I would never use it for Live TV and it certainly isn't perfect. I've heard Stremio + Real Debrid is very good too but no one should be trying to watch live tv on Kodi.

It will take you a couple hours the first time you do it, but after you understand it it's fairly simple. I have set them up for my family and friends.

Whatever IPTV service you find will never be for "life". They can get taken down at any time. It is best to stay away from providers that are promoting through websites etc. Try and find someone that is low key and has been around for a long time. If you are unsure you can almost always do 1 month/3month/6 month subscriptions until you determine if you like them or trust them enough to buy a year. One service I have been with for about 4 years now.

Kodi time has come and gone

Use Downloader app and load an iptv apk

I have prob the best out there ,but they no longer take customers

No buffering ,no bs ,prob 3k channels ,every ppv ,game etc

You're going to have to do your homework on iptv

The last time I messed with Kodi a few years ago all the big sites for it kept getting taken down.

It depends on how much you care about pretty apps and all that.

Now days they got a lot of web sites that stream, if you have a mini PC hooked up to your TV and a wireless keyboard with the trackpad, its the easiest setup. Can find pretty much any movie or show out there. I dont care about football, basketball ect. I only watch boxing and MMA and can find all those PPVs pretty easy.

This keyboard:

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wire.../dp/B014EUQOGK

and a mini PC is what I use, doesnt really take any effort setting up or maintaining.
