Is it worth spending $3k/mo or more just to be a home owner?

Srs, even in a cheap area, with 20% down, PITI ends up being $3k/mo+ in most places. 7-8% interest rates are killers, post-COVID real estate boom ain't pretty either.

Think it's worth it?

If from 10 years ago I'd know I'd make as much as I do now, I'd expect to be in a fancy house by now srs.

It depends on the situation

I’ll probably own property

But I like to keep weird hours, have lots of responsibility(did you hear the wiz song) and want to be able to take short wife breaks

As such but mainly for the latter 2

Never see me out because I live in my workplace🍎🐝
