With autumn in full swing and winter right around the corner, does that mean a modification of your training routine or fitness goals? Or is it business as usual? For myself, it won't change much, but I plan on doing another 90-120 day shred mid-winter, so that will mean a revamping of my own training protocol, shifting into more of a reverse pyramid approach with heavier weights/lower reps.
For your time......

Best of luck with your autumn/winter fitness goals. If you're DYEL, it's never too late to start. This "can't teach an old dog new tricks" adage is pure bullschit.

*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

Changing goals to get my cardio back up for ski season. Was a lazy fuk with running over the summer. And have been busy for BJJ for awhile.
So back on BJJ 3 x a week minimum + 3 days running + 3 days light upper body lifting depending on my weekly recovery. If I’m getting too sore and hurting might have to start dialing a few things back. Just gotta find the right mix of volumes so I can recover. Should prolly just hop on test tbh.

If you bomb a run with lots of force driving through your legs non stop I’m basically as toast as I would be at the end of a 400 or a 1/2 mile race. Depending on if I’m in deep powder or not effects how much force I’m pushing through the quads as well. Then I do that 10-15 more times during the day.
I eat a lot of gummy bears on the chairlift.
On powder days I typically call it quits when my quads start knotting up and cramping so bad I fall over and writhe on the ground for a few minutes.

Changing from biking as my method of Cardio to other sources. Which sucks, because I love biking. But the season for it was super short this year.

Summer is approaching here so I want to get as ripped as I possibly can, I've got some annoying softness around my midsection ATM. I'm thinking carb cycling if need be, that's a tough regime to stick but it works well for me.
Weight wise, I'm looking for a more nuanced workout for legs tailored to soccer playing, to make my soccer shots as powerful as possible since I play centre forward and striker. I want my shots to break the fingers of any goalie who tries to save them.
Dunno if you would have any recommendations there? Maybe just a bunch more quad isolation and new exercises?

Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

I finished my cut in August and then went on a bender with food for about a month after I went on vacation. Now I'm pretty much on recomp mode until maybe late winter, early spring. My clinic just sent my a ghrp and igf, so I'm excited to see how that changes my physique in these next few months. Training never really changes, I just haven't done much cardio at all. I'm still active, by walking my dog and doing house stuff, but no structured cardio for now. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Haven’t lifted in years…
I need to go get gyno surgery but?
Beyond that, I miss spending 2 hours at the gym a day. I’m likely soon approaching meds, which will translate to me soon being back at it 6 days a week.
This time? Cutting, fitness plans and counting macros
Never did that stuff excited to see how that goes

Been leaning out since spring, sitting at 10% bodyfat 180 6'1. Thinking of cutting back calories slightly to see if 175 brings any changes. Basically push the cut until strength/energy falls off, then recomp back to a sustainable weight. Vacation last week set me back, went from structured diet to eating out 3/day, holy caloric uptake. With hunting season here Ill be fasting 24hrs and doing weighted 10 mile walks every Sunday on top of the normal plan.

Doing another lean bulk while cutting back volume and increasing the intensity. Seeing results and enjoying it. Started down this path because I was doing a lot of volume and fukked up my shoulder again. It's feeling a lot better and low volume might be my approach moving forward. I can't convince myself to go full bloat mode. At 42, I'm paranoid that I'd never lose the weight. The whole reason I started training was to stop being a fatass. Ain't going back to that.
