This Loki show makes no sense [spoilers]

He's supposed to be incredibly strong but when humans in the TVA fight him they can do some damage to him. And he's too weak to break a little collar around his neck?

The TVA somehow snatches infinity stones away from powerful beings in their respective universes. How? Are they really going to have the chance to pokey-stick beings with godly powers? Imagine a human walking up to and hitting thanos in the face with a stick or trying to put a stupid collar on him
