Sorry to hear bro. I’ve witnessed family wither away like that and it’s a heartbreaking, powerless feeling. Try to make sure she is as comfortable as possible, your presence alone gives her some sense of peace I’m sure.

Grandmothers are the best tho. Mine is the lifeblood of my shrinking family. She has been more of a mom to me than my own mom. Her cancer has been in remission for almost 2 years but I know one day I am going to have to face a similar situation. I’m fkin dreading it man…

Sending positive thoughts. My Grandmother was always a thin woman but towards the end it sucked. If you can go spend time with her or call. Don't wait until you get THAT call. I missed the last call mine ever gave and never bothered to call back. Month and a half later she was gone. FML. My parents are aging and being half a world away is still an "upsetting" thought when I sit and think of it. But for my personal life direction this is what I needed/wanted to do and they understand and are very supportive. But even still, I think of them both at least once a day. Don't underestimate how much time any of us have left, especially older family. Sht could happen any time.
