Is it easy to extinguish the fire? How harmful is the smoke? Is it really a fire or is it more of an explosion?

Would the driver survive if it made some mean comments that the government deemed hateful and thus asked Tesla to remotely switch off the car.

I appreciate the engineering but any car that can be remotely switched off is not a good idea.

I think Tesla uses noice reduction glass, which is storm glass. It is also called bullet proof glass. I have storm glass around my house since I live in a hurricane area. It is great at keeping outside noice down in the house. Other car companies use storm glass too I've noticed.

It’s definitely not easy to extinguish the fire. Its caused by thermal runaway of the lithium ion battery in the car. Not really an explosion but the fire can engulf whatever product its in really fast. I work in an industry where we sometimes have to insure lithium battery manufacturers/distributors and its a risky business due to the above and the fact the the thermal runaway could be caused from a multitude of reasons
