2020:

Inflation was 2%.
Eggs were $2 a dozen.
Gas was at $2 a gallon.
Mortgage rate was 2%.
The world was at peace.

2023:

Inflation is 8%.
Eggs are $8 a dozen.
Gas is $8 a gallon.
Mortgage rate is 8%.
The world is at war.

I paid 3.99/gl yesterday for gas in WA state and apparently we are one of the priciest states for gas.

Trump 2024 all fkin day but let’s not be dishonest. Where the fuk are eggs $8 a dozen? They’re expensive but more like $2-3 now. Gas is around $4/gallon in most states.
