what career field to go into? i'm 36 and tired of being a brokie SRS
no degree, no certifications... i'm like prob 6-9 hours shy of an associate's degree if I were to go back to school (just fyi)
currently trying to see about getting on at UPS as soon as I see something open up in my area.... benefits would be awesome for sure, so that's a big plus for me since i'm a single father... had thought about getting a CDL, but not rly wanting to drive an 18 wheeler but i know there's other options...
the local community college where i last attended has programs for HVAC, auto service, collision tech, CIS, drafting, health related, industrial tech, surveying, and welding... I mean, I was doing soldering (not sure how closely related this may or may not be to welding as far as similarities) at my most recent job but I was only making $16/hr
anyway...
thoughts? advice?

HVAC; I had a guy drop out of college in our second year to do it & by the time I got out of school he was already a millionaire, I'm sure he's now retired in his 30's
Not typical but you can still easily clear 6 figures & have an extremely valuable skill set
CDL is high-demand, driving big trucks seems daunting but as long as you respect the weight you're hauling it's cake; great benefits & retire @ $100K+
Healthcare.. the highest of all demands; nothing really needs to be said
