Who here has had stubborn chest development but got past it?

and what movements did you use to do so? My chest is DYEL mode. I've hit a 4 plate bench but my form is more like Dave Tate's. I don't think I am getting much chest activation from it.

My chest is currently the most underdeveloped part of my entire body.

However, I haven't done any incline press during the last few months. Did my first big set of them today, and can tell chest growth will happen quickly.

i watch a lot of pro videos and the recurring theme is the front delt doing the work and not the pecs.
you need to think about form and squeezing your chest, contracting it with chin off the chest and focusing on pec contraction with chest up and out.
all of the pros say that once they mastered this trick, then their chest began to develop.

Decline seems to hit harder for taller bros IMO. Strictly bro science and anecdotal however

Flat barbell bench is nearly worthless, Jay Cutler didn't even do it when training for the Olympia. I would start with incline DB's, then flat, and don't leave out decline (BB is fine for decline IMO). Flyes at different angles, dips if your elbows/shoulders can handle it and finish with DB pullovers (big favorite of Arnolds.)
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.
