While spiders themselves don't bother me all that much to begin with, I specifically don't think one that big would be all that bad. It's like a pet tarantula got loose at that point. I'd catch in a bucket. The only time they really start to bother me is when they're above my head.

It's just a huntsman get it on the end of the broom and put it outside so it kills all the other bugs

Would keep it as a pet to frighten off all the other horrible chit that lives in Australia and might kill you. Huntsman spiders are virtually harmless.

Dear Diary

I was sleeping in my dorm room loft when I felt a spider on my arm and I swept him off.

Later I felt something on my arm. Half asleep I went to sweep it off my arm but it was a wasp and the basturd stung me. I went to the janitor's room and got a can of Raid™ and sprayed him to death. Then I poured Lighter Fluid on him and burned his still-twitching carcass to a cinder.

Bruh, no joke, when I was abroad in Australia way back when I was in college, we had a spider like that one day in the dorm I was sharing with a couple other guys on the trip. I saw it when we got back from a night out on the town drinking, and this one dude I was with was just chitfaced drunk when I pointed it out, he was all like "oh chit!" and ran over and literally just open hand smashed the thing when it was on the wall. He killed it, but I was like "bro, did you see how gnarly that thing was?!"

One of those classic moments I won't forget.
