In Vegas for a week

Leaving in a bit for my flight, in Vegas the Oct. 17-23; going to Twitchcon this weekend but going to enjoy the gambling, drinking, shows, and some extra fun from today until Thursday for sure. Flight is at 0600, need to leave at around 0200 to make sure I have enough time to get through security.

Got $3-4k to gamble with, mostly going for slots, blackjack and maybe some roulette. I also got more than a few addresses for some good titty bars from friends. This is my first vacation in 9 years, as long as I don't beat someone's ass or get alcohol poisoning it will be a good time, wouldn't mind breaking even on gambling too if I am lucky.

Yeah alone; I'm just Ubering, gonna be drinking so no driving for me; staying at the Linq since it was cheap and it's right on the strip, not planning to be in the room much other than to sleep and maybe to not sleep depending on how the night goes.

Gonna be getting hammered on a ferris wheel later today, wonder how much I can realistically drink in 30 minutes if it's not just shots.

Some pics from the High Roller Happy Half Hour ferris wheel; tipped the bartender (cool guy) $5 per drink so he doubled up on the alcohol for me; 8 drinks and I got ****ed up; nap time now.

Just woke up still buzzed, going to hit up a populare breakfast place Hash A Go Go then more drinking and gambling; lost $100 after the ferris wheel last night haha, fck it, still up about $70 or so and another $2700 to gamble if I want.

Tickets were $68 total, not bad since normal tickets are $24 or something; happy hour is any time after 1800 I think? When you go on they make sure you get into the right car with the bar. Pretty much just simple mixed drinks but still fun. Grabbed another ticket for tonight, then got tickets to the X Burlesque show, X County tomorrow and titty bars in between. No pics of any of that, not looking to get my happy ass in trouble at work later and they will find that sht.

That is pretty much sold out through November-Dec. And ticket prices were outrageous.

Used to be a huge U2 fan. Not so much anymore. Sphere looks awesome though. Here is a full concert.

Yeah I go to Vegas quite a bit and either stay at Aria, the Wynn, or Bellagio so I always had a good view of it during construction. It was neat seeing them build it. Took forever.

Best part of that video is near the end with Where the Streets have no name, and With or Without you as far as graphics.

But being honest they didn't do nearly as much with the sphere graphics as I would have thought they would. People don't care though. Every show sold out.

The inside has to be pretty wild from the pics I've seen....it's like being part of the show!!!
