Mario games will always get inflated scores from manchild reviewers so it would be a legit flop if it scores under a 90 metascore


Anyway after 100+ 2D side scrolling mario's and derivative games I couldn't give a fck anymore about this milked gaming formulae

i was leaning towards an 88 but the hype for a new 2d mario is over a decade in the making, i am thinking a 90 now
possibly 20 million sales this year alone also

Just played few levels

Not a huge Mario fan but it seems like the most polished Mario platformer to date

Nothing is challanging more of a kids game, but I didn't get too far so maybe it gets more challanging down the road
