Buy vegetables fruit and meat
Wash them/ peel them cut them. Put them in hot place with salt. Eat that. Prep for a meal for 1 person should take less than 5 minutes even with incompetent knife skills. Cooking stir fry meat, ground beef, or shrimp should be less than 5 minutes in a sautee pan with heat as well. Rice can be premade in a rice cooker or if your really hopeless use uncle Ben’s.
If you can’t accomplish that you are useless. Srs.

Cook your own food.
By food I dont mean pre frozen chicken strips and spaghetti. i mean actual food like grandma makes.
Regular meals that any grand dad would have eaten back in the day will work.
They should all have protein, a carb like rice or potatoes and vegetables.
Obviously the veg and rice is pretty simple so you only need to think about what protein you want.
I cook three days worth at a time so technically I only cook dinner once every 3 days and eat the same dinner those days. You can preo more than that but by the 4th day and beyond its pretty crummy.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

"Cutting" overrated soyo.
Just eat relatively clean.
I hardly eat fried food, no dairy, no alcohol.
Only thing for me is sweets, normally in the form of an energy drink.
Even so I'm pretty lean and I don't feel deprived in my diet at all.
Just saying I'm not eating BS like tofu and low carb six grain blah blah blah.
I ate Crockpot pozole for a couple days, before that it was chicken bacon Caesar wraps, today I'm having a BLT then making stewed cabbage with bacon in the Crockpot.
Egg salad sandwich, tuna salad sandwich, chili, chicken soup, can go on and on.
At some point in near future I'd like to make breakfast burritos, etc.

don't keep chitty food in the fridge/pantry. It makes it way easier.
it starts at the grocery store. that bag of chips? don't put it in the cart. tub of ice cream? leave it out of the cart. frozen dinners? keep them out of the cart.
if you're going to eat out (everyone needs a cheat meal), there's healthier options like poke or chipotle (no cheese/guac/sour cream).
also just teach your body to like healthy/clean foods. eating clean doesn't need to mean eating bland tasteless food either.

Food is fuel, nothing more.
Stop being a slave to your tastebuds. People turn to food for pleasure, or for something to spice up the boredom, when they should instead view it as a basic life resource like drinking water.
The go to should be any kind of concoction of: eggs, chicken, steak, fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains. Add spices/seasonings in place of caloric sauces and other toppings. If you insist on a treat, get one of those super low calorie lightly buttered popcorn or "skinny pop" type of things. Very low calories given how long you munch on it for.
