being a chronically depressed miscr and audiophile music lover I opt for Vinyl records of Japanese female vocal Jazz.

I also like to upload them to youtube, I'm still working on uploading my collection of vinyl that is not blocked on YT.

man those songs made me choke up for a while not because they're also innately sad but also because I was at a pretty low point in my life when I was big into AiC and would listen to them when in the depths of depression and they would remind me of that. Seems like ages ago.

Lately I've been foraying into blackgaze stuff, pretty much the most popular stuff like Alcest.

Orchestra and vocal focused type stuff, r&b or whatever

Stuff like this

Now if I'm feeling blue and want to get out of it... I go straight to the punk rock from my teenage days. Reminds me of being a kid and pumps me up out of my funk

90s rock for the most part. Any song that sounds like these:

Name - Goo Goo Dolls
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins
Puddle of Mudd - Blurry
Third Eye Blind - How's it Gonna Be
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Good choices OP. On spread.

I listen to a lot of classical music. I'll listen to some jazz or blues too.

I also have a huge issue with obsession in music. I'll find something that I like and listen to it on repeat for close to 200 times throughout the week or something. Oddly enough I cannot remember lyrics for any song in full even listening to it an inhuman amount of times. But I know every single note and musical inflection of the song/orchestra or instrumentals.

This week I listened to this all day in the car. I've been in a sort of optimistic melancholy all week. These are what I listened to.

And before bed every single night I have been listening to this

It'll probably be something new next week lol.
