Why are fat people called whales? I don't see the resemblance.

I understand calling fat people pigs, cows, hippos, elephant seals or walruses but I don't understand why they are called whales when whales don't resemble an obese human in any way.

Sure, they are the heaviest animals on the planet but that's because they are the longest.

Because whales have a thick layer of fat known as blubber and so do fat people. I don't see your point anyway since humans don't resemble pigs or hippos more than they resemble whales.

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

I imagine it comes from the days when whales were hunted for their fat. Whale oil I believe was used in lanterns. Little did they know, all they needed to do was dig in the ground in PA for oil.

walrus would probably be a better term. They are sort of big and stupid looking.

Whales are pretty elegant when you think about them.
