I see people being robbed pretty often, they don’t realize it
An aggressive panhandler gets up in their personal space while they’re using the transit machine and angrily asks for a dollar or a train ticket. Sometimes they oblige and give them what they want
They gave money because they were physically intimidated into doing so, but rationalize it away as doing a good deed of their own choice

Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

My first job was at this little drive through convenience store thing. You could walk in too as there were really no doors. You just closed a garage door thing when you closed.
Some guy walked in and pulled a gun and demanded the money. It was a small place and I was seriously cornered so no chance of even thinking of fighting back. plus I was a teenager and he was a grown man so I just gave him the money.
It was sort of exhilarating but scary at the same time. probably more exciting than scary to be honest.
Had a guy pull a gun on me at a party once because i was messing with him, you know, talking **** and stuff and just sort of having fun at his expense. Guess he didnt like it and pulled a gun on me and stuck it under my chin.
Without really thinking I just swatted it away and told him to put it away before we both get in trouble. Then I berated him and made him feel stupid for pulling in out in a bar and talked him into buying me more beers. it was pretty stupid in retrospect but it worked and we ended up drinking together the rest of the night, no hard feelings.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

3 times (ded fkin srs - I grew up in the hood).
1st time I got dragged behind an abandoned building by 4 grown men asking for “green tobacco.” Could’ve been raped but they just ran my pockets. I was 14 at the time and had only pocket change and a bag of candy from the dollar store.
2nd time I got chased down then jumped by a street gang, bike jacked and robbed of $20 + a chain. Got told to get out of their hood. I was 15 trying to BMX at the park.
3rd time I got robbed at gunpoint by a scumbag in a mask. In my early 20s, just sitting in the car with the windows down when I felt something cold on my cheek. I look over and there’s a pistol pressed against my skull. Lost my wallet and phone that night. Also gave me PTSD and paranoia of strangers for life srs.
Every single time I was minding my own business. The middle incident happened in broad daylight. I’ve never been involved in any illicit activities. That’s why to this day I get rustled when liberals try to downplay crime like it only happens to dealers. That’s fkin bullchit. When you normalize and excuse criminality, everyone is at risk.

Robbed - no. I think most criminals in those situations are looking for an easy target and I don't give anyone that vibe
