If soccer had 15 players a side, the pitches would be YUUUGE

In most countries, soccer teams (known as football teams in Europe) usually have 11 players a side: the goalkeeper plus ten main players on the field.

Imagine adding an extra four players to each team and standard soccer now involving 15 players a side on the pitch.

So, instead of a total of 22 players on the pitch, you now have 30 players.

Boom - larger pitches, which means you'll need to make the stadiums larger and the locker rooms larger to accommodate the increase in players on the squad.



This was not my idea; whoever thought this up is clearly bonkers, right?
