my buddy starting a all organic no pesticide farm thats no till and regenerative for the land. he will not stop crop production for a gov hand out. since the gov pays real farmers to stop producing food. between bill gates and china most land is owned by poeple outside of the us or just not with our interest at heart. which means they could just shut down most of the farms in the country if they wanted to and starve half the country.

almost all health problems start at the table mental and physical.

what im asking is for anyone who gives a **** about health, the environment, or people in general just donate to the cause. even a dollar would make a difference.

No till is a liberal term that people like to throw around and involves more chemicals and less yields. Minimum till is probably what you’re looking at. Not every farm is able to no till because new investments in equipment and the soil not really needing it

It is the process of planting crops with minimal top soil disturbance since most of the microbes and life built up in the top layers of soil. Cover crops that prevent erosion and add nutrients to the ground like legumes will be planted then knocked down as green mulch to feed crops and retain water. Crops will be seeding directly into that. The animals grace and eat cover crops. Poo fertilizer. A farm can be self sustainable if done right.

It doesn’t work everywhere there’s different climates and different soils all over the place

And no farms can’t really be self sustaining especially once your getting into cattle and horse lmao your gonna need to have semis bringing in feed for them so your gonna have to buy a tractor basically just for that

My cows graze the pastures but your still gonna need hay for them especially over the winter

The idea is to get a medium sized farm and once it's going smooth they use percent of profits from this farm to have other families start small farms.spread the wealth kind of thing instead of these huge conventional farms they can shut down whenever or decide to spray whatever on the crops like that fungicide apeel. If it has a sticker that says apeel don't eat it. Made by Bill Gates crew. It preserves fruit longer on shelf.

Land is cheap in the right areas. Taxes on an empty field in the middle of nowhere can be seen at 2000 a year on 80 acres in western NY. In Kentucky it's even as low as 10 dollars. Look at properties on landsearch.com for ny and you could get 300 acres for 200k and have barely any taxes on that.
property have water source which in ny where he plans on starting is wet everywhere. Creeks ponds you name it.

Their won't be a ton of horses. There going to be for certain jobs .no hogs either sry.

Mostly cows and chickens will be bee hives also. Small sheep thing for clothes. Most area will be crops.
Greenhouses for winter crops.which is easy to build.

Me and this guy have been growing plants since we were kids. Were just now wanting to grow pro but do it organically and with low heavy metals. We on that longevity time when it comes to food. Obviously I need to stop smoking.

We got about twenty people that will be living on farm and working it. Living in cheap used trailers.Been planning for a while.some family some friends. If we need more we'll have to hire.

The land provides plenty of wood/post for greenhouse so there like half off on price.fencing will be costly but some of its fenced already.seeds are cheap.



Ten of the people working there all saving money for this project and living there.including me.

soon I'll work my way to other places. Like ********. I was just on here so I figured **** it I'll post.

The food will be sold to small family owned businesses like lighthouse in Maryville that butcher and sell fresh meat and eggs.

The fruit and veg will be main priority . The animals will be for adding composting, carbon, and humus to soil mostly. They will be rotated to different fields to graze on rotation with crops and resting fields.

This is not a meat oriented farm. But some meat will be sold. Like if chickens stop laying eggs they get sold. No milk will be produced. Cows will be big meat cows that will graze and poop out gold(fertilizer)then get sold at end of year for meat.

Will start small and expand until it's time to get some other family started on a small family farm.

All added fertilizers will natural inputs low in heavy metals like down to earth brand nutrients which uses stuff like kelp meal,alfalfa meal, crab meal, fish bone meal, and many other premium quality fertilizers. Which should only need used in the begining of the farm to get this going until we reach the level of sustainability.


There's zero selection for organic foods in most areas around here we plan to change that. Ty for providing to thread.
