Halloween is near so I'm gonna be checking out a few horror films. Was really anticipating this one since it's from the same director of Terrified, an Argentinian horror film that I consider one of the best horror films from the last decade.

The film starts out really fast. Right off the bat the plot takes off. The first half of this film is kind of crazy. It's intense. Unfortunately it kind of fizzles after that. Overall, it's good. But the ending kind of feels flat compared to the beginning and what we think we're getting from the set up. I'd still recommend the film though.

Also, this film is not only gory, but it is brave enough to do things Hollywood won't. I won't spoil it but it's awesome. Check it out. 6/10

6/10 is basically what I give films that I liked and recommend. 7/10 is something that I think manages to be a film that not only do I want to watch multiple times, but goes beyond most films out today. This film had it maintained its pace from the beginning would have easily hit that mark.

Heard great thing about it...the movie comes from Argentinian filmmaker Demián Rugna who made another solid horror film called Terrified (2017).

Definitely watch it if you're a fan of his first film. Going to watch out for any movie this guy makes going forward.

Won't go to the theater for it, but I'll watch it at some point just because most of my film critic acquaintances think highly of it.

its on shudder. i just watched this movie today. i agree with the 6/10 rating. its worth a watch but its average as was Terrified. the characters in this movie will make u rage for being so stupid

It isn't hollywood because its a foreign film. They don't have to worry about PETA and other stupid activist groups

saw the 2nd one recently and overall it was kinda meh but the over the top killings made it ok. lol'd hard when dude smashed half that girls face off than slams mashed potatos in the cavity. some of the killings/tortures were really messed up

also was confused about him as a person. at first it was like he's freddy krueger in that girls dream but then he was in reality? i didnt get it.

Terrified is an Argentinian film, it is unrelated to the Terrifier movies.

Basically. That's why I've been watching more foreign film especially ones from South Korea.
