I'm tempted to RVmaxx for the next few years. Absolutely srs.

There are a fairly large amount of RV parks in Vegas, some have monthly plot fees of 500-600 per month plus electric. I'm finding nicely used RV's in the 20-30k range. I'm thinking of buying one in cash, and then go from a $1500 apt down to a 600-700 month expense plus still have an asset out of it. At that point I'm just going to focus on my stocks and 401k. The median home price is 450k, and interest rates are 7-8%. No thx Jeff.

See if they allow long term stay. Also you'll want water and sewer.

A lot of places offer monthly rates, but it would probably be smart to see if I could get a long term deal on it. I'll look into if they provide water and sewer too.

I'll lose out on resale, but I'll be making big moves on my stocks and 401k to not matter. Also I'm a tradie so I consider myself handy.

need to go smaller and stealth mode...

rig out something small and stealth as a sleeper unit....zero rent.....24 hour gym....spend time at the library....eat fruits and ready foods mostly..

the savings is huge and after a few weeks you totally get used to it and get a good routine down.

something like a Ford Sprinter or anything you can rig out

its actually very freeing and a fun way to live.

I actually considered the van life, or putting a camper in the back of my truck. Unfortunately I just don't want anything that small. Down the road when I get close to retiring or maybe working on heavy equipment in Montana or South Dakota, I'd absolutely go tiny home or cabin.
