Why is Israel sending IDF into tunnels?? Why not just gas it and explode?

They could simply find a tunnel, seal off the exit, and attach a hose and start filling the tunnel with carbon monoxide....


or, if you really want to be spicy, start filling tunnels with methane.... and after a few hours... light it.


Or even something low tech, like starting small fires and using fans to fill the tunnels with smoke.

If they actually put an end to radical Islamists like Hamas, then there would be less of a reason for Uncle Sam to keep sending them billions just to exist in the middle of "everybody here hates you" land.

I'm sure Hamas considered those possibilities. They would have built ventilation shafts and multiple narrow passageways to disperse harmful gasses.

Probably more truth to this than people want to admit.



Going into those tunnels seems insane. I understand there are likely hundreds if not thousands of points of entry but **** it. If you’re going to clear the place little by little just close them off as you go. Find on in a closet? Blow that floor up and drop it on it.


But don’t go in. Curious to see if there is any truth to them having those “sponge” bomb devices.

This is the correct answer as well as there are a huge number of civilians in parts of the tunnels and all the detained Israelis are in the tunnels too.

Then start pumping sea water down into the tunnels. Would be very easy to flood.

That's not a realistic scenario. Not going to happen, even if Israel was willing to do that. That would backfire hard, even our own leaders would have to block Israel from doing something like that.

You can't openly genocide 2 million people. Defeating Hamas and then continuing to keep Gaza in the condition its currently in will just lead to another future Hamas like organization.
