Why are republicans a slight favorite in 2024 on some betting sites?

Bovada has republicans at -105 to win the presidency and dems at +100. Many are around even. Do they think trump is going to jail and someone else will be the nominee? Trump probably can't win?

If Trump becomes the nominee they will become an even bigger favorite.

Especially if he goes against Biden again, everyone realizes now that they fuked up picking Biden over him the first time.

Except of course the deranged TDSers that would probably vote for a member of Hamas to be president before Trump.

There is no way they are running Biden. They can't hide his incompetence at this point. It is going to be Newsom. It is why he did his trip to China recently.

newsome doesn't poll much better than biden outside of california. There's a reason they haven't removed him yet. Getting rid of biden would be easy

Think the dem strategy will be to get anyone else but Biden since he has too many failures and baggage.

Part of the reason Biden "won" was because lots of voters were willing to risk trying someone else, but now you have incumbent vs incumbent and it is very obvious things were way better under Trump. By a lot.

You're not wrong but the thing is dems have no one better. The only reason newsome seems somewhat feasible is because outside of california most normies have no idea who he is. Once they find out what a lunatic he is he's going to perform worse than pants s.hittin' joe. I know that's hard to believe but that's what an absolute train wreck the democrats are. If they didn't control courts and vote counters they wouldn't even exist as a party.
