Not a bad concept but it just looks like your typical pretentious indie game of today that critics seem to love.

I played for an hour last night, there were no reviews out so I wasn't too sure what to expect.

Game looks and sounds incredible. Runs flawlessly on the Series X too.

Made it to chapter 2. Not sure how much more I'll play.
So far no real interesting story has developed except for a few one paragraph letters.

Played a bit of it on gamepass.




Game looks pretty incredible on the PC, at 4k native and running smoothly; the IQ is impeccable and honestly it's a bit of a treat coming in from Alan Wake 2 where the console IQ leaves a bit to be desired IMO.


That said, the gameplay is really simple and it's a pretty chill game. Good palette cleanser in between the AW2 runs .... I doubt Ill finish it, but appreciate the work put into this and moreso that its a gamepass title. More studio's ought to do something small like this between bigger releases.


Is this an UE5 game? I'm honestly kinda surprised at how good everything looks.
