Honestly, I think a big component of the support for escalation comes from boomers who don’t have long to live anyway. As usual, they aren’t concerned with long term global stability or allowing things to work out naturally. These are arrogant people with senility, who feel that the messiah should appear in their lifetimes, so they support every conflict and massacre that might lead to them seeing Jesus before they die.

I have read enough comments and articles to understand that this is actually a priority of theirs. And what does it matter to them when they are wrong? They aren’t responsible for anything but dying off.
