DD: Parents are getting old and NGL im a bit sad i havent given them grandkids (srs)

Yesterday was Dia de Muertos here in Mexico and it got me a bit nostalgic (watching Coco didnt help lol). Realized my parents werent getting any younger and the fact that my dad struggles with obesity and hes almost 70 really got me thinking that he may never see another baby with his own blood being born, which must suck for a man, to feel like his dinasty may come to an end. I had another brother that died and have an older sister that is a modern woman (lol), so im the only realistic one left.


But finding a wholesome woman to be the mother of your child honestly seems like an S+ ranked mission nowadays. It doesnt help that 1) i dont believe in monogamy yet im not a bad enough person to cheat and 2) my standards are stupidly high (looks wise and non-slootyness wise)

Attractive women in today world receive a lot of attention, and this is a double edged sword for them and really bad for relationships. And since i like REALLY attractive women, it gets even worse. Im disgusted by promiscuity so finding a really attractive wholesome woman that hasnt been around, not gonna lie its not looking good.

Im not worried, im barely entering my prime financially and i enjoying a lot these years as a single man, but i do want kids so hopefully that comes sooner rather than later, especially for my parents.



Just sharing my emotions like a modern man here, im guessing others are going trough something similar.

Seen you around here for years and I can't help but think you have serious issue with narcissism. I mean, everyone wants a hot girl, but there's way more to a marriage than that. I married the hot girl and I've dated them and they're really all the same. They're programmed b/c they've probably been the 'hot girl' forever and it really hampers their ability to develop a personality and their ability to really care for a man. They KNOW the next guy is waiting for them and it causes them to be low effort.

Attractive women (specifically white/whitish looking young & fit) get the world's attention thanks to the internet. You cannot compete with that.

I've dated down and been dismayed by the choices these women have on their phones. And unless you are literally some Prince charming character, they'll ghost you if someone better comes along. Even if you've been dating for months.

Just the amount of attention any girl who is even marginally attractive gets in real life of guys who want to date her is really unsettling.

Yeah, thats exactly it. I want a top .01% woman (gorgeous, young, and no sexual past other than legit boyfriends). Even if i consider myself to be a .01% man as well, those women go for the .0001% type of men. Even a top 10% woman gets the world served in a plate, you can be perfect for her and she will still feel like she can do better, which is why i believe there are going to be TONS of super beautiful 30 and 40 y/o single woman in the near future, the ones that wasted their 'young and beautiful' card.


Either way, i know im not perfect, im messed up a bit, and i overthink too much.

Having standards so high to the point where you know they're unrealistic is a coping mechanism. "According to statistical data, the probability a woman of the U.S. female population ages 30 to 40 meets your standards is 3%." This doesn't take into consideration a woman's beauty.

I think youve nailed it Kimm. I really believe this is the path that many people will choose in the near future, and i believe thats what many people did before the whole marriage thing became the norm.

I like the concept of marriage, but sadly i dont think it fits with todays world. Its not a smart move, unless you do find that unicorn.

I dont need her to be a virgin, im not delusional. Yeah man. The thing about looks, its not even a choice im making. For whatever reason im not attracted to normal looking chicks, im not a normal dude in that regard (and hell, in many others lol)

We didn't have a kid until we were in our 40s and our parents in their 70s. They already had grandkids from our siblings and our daughter has now pretty much skipped a generation. She is two and my nephew and his fiance, who are in their 20s, had a kid a few weeks ago.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......
